چکیده

Congenital abnormalities impact 3% to 5% of allpregnancies, and they are the leading cause newborndeath. The majority caused by unknown factors, withpregnancy being sole risk factor. However, in bothaffluent developing nations, responsible forrising newborn fatalities.Aim study: purpose this study was seewhether there a link between Gestational sac diameter, crown rump length, yolk diameter fetal heart ratein detection early congenital malformation.Patients methods:our research included 100 pregnantwomen who were scanned using 2d ultrasonographybeginning first trimester, with scan takingplace 6 8 weeks. at 18-22 weeks, followup performed. trimester's outcome wasdocumented. Results: Among cases, 77 (77%) had normal pregnancy,20 (20%) an miscarriage, 3 (3%) congenitalfetal malformation. statistically highly significantdifference normal, miscarriage andcongenital malformation results regardingyolk shape (p < 0.001). our research, small, irregular, calcified, or big significantpredictive factor pregnancy outcome. Conclusion: strong gestationalsac diameter, CRL, andfetal rate pregnancies that ended firsttrimester.

Normal ranges of embryonic length, embryonic heart rate, gestational sac diameter and yolk sac diameter at 6-10 weeks.

OBJECTIVES To construct normal ranges for embryonic crown-rump length (CRL), heart rate (HR), gestational sac diameter (GSD) and yolk sac diameter (YSD) at 6-10 weeks of gestation. METHODS We examined 4,698 singleton pregnancies with ultrasound measurements of CRL, HR, GSD and YSD at 6-10 weeks and CRL at 11-13 weeks resulting in the live birth after 36 weeks of phenotypically normal neonates...

Evaluation of Yolk Sac Diameter and Embryonic Heart Rate as Prognostic Factors of Gestational Outcome in Early Singleton Pregnancies

It has been previously suggested that abnormal yolk sac characteristics and slow embryonic foetal heart rate are associated with poor gestational outcome and these parameters can be used to assess foetal viability in first trimester of pregnancies. However there is paucity of evidence in Indian medical literature. The purpose of present study was to examine the role of yolk sac characteristics ...

O-37: Yolk Sac Diameter and Embryonic Heart Rate As Prognostic Factors of First Trimester Spontaneous Miscarriage

Background: During the past 20 years a lot of information is achieved about the first trimester of pregnancy through ultrasound and intrauterine fertilization. Many researchers tried to use the symptoms of ultrasound in early pregnancy like measuring the gestational sac and yolk sac of the pregnancy to predict the continuation of pregnancy. Aim of the recent study is to predict the risk of spon...

Automatic Gestational Age Estimation Based on Crown Rump Length and Gestational Sac

The development of ultrasound technology allows us to see the structure and development of the fetus directly. Crown-Rump Length (CRL) and mean diameter of gestational sac (MSD) can be used to determine the age of the fetus. Both parameters are useful for measuring different aspects of the first trimester of pregnancy. This study proposes a method to obtain those parameter values automatically ...

Re: limitations of current definitions of miscarriage using mean gestational sac diameter and crown-rump length measurements: a multicenter observational study.

OBJECTIVES There is significant variation in cut-off values for mean gestational sac diameter (MSD) and embryo crown-rump length (CRL) used to define miscarriage, values suggested in the literature ranging from 13 to 25 mm for MSD and from 3 to 8 mm for CRL. We aimed to define the false-positive rate (FPR) for the diagnosis of miscarriage associated with different CRL and MSD measurements with ...
